Tantalising Technology - Wireless World

24th April 2012
I've had a chance to play with my new iPad and discovered really tantalising use for it in conjunction with my wireless enabled SD card.

As you may know the iPad is wireless enabled and I also have a wireless enabled SD card that fits in my Nikon D300s. It is from Eye-Fi.

Having got the Eye-Fi software for the iPad from the Application Store, I configured it so that I could wirelessly transmit images I was taking directly to my iPad in real time.
Neat huh?

Well, I also got the AppleTV dongle which, amongst other things, allows the screen of the iPad to be shown on an HDMI enable TV (again wirelessly).

So now, I can, in real time shoot and show on TV!

Great....kids love it :D

Photo comment By Andy: David, Unfortunately you do need the Eye-Fi card and it doesn't work with all cameras :(
